The funitel is currently the most sophisticated and efficient cable transport system available.
With two carrier-tractor cables, the installation is highly stable in windy conditions and can easily span very large distances.
The disengageable system allows continuous movement of the cabins and ensures a very high throughput.
Given the high cost of this installation, its use remains limited to applications requiring high throughput and reliability.
